The French & Italian Department at the University of Arizona is delighted to organize this conference to which all MA and doctoral students in French are invited to participate so that they may have the opportunity to
give a talk following the traditional format of 20 minutes to present plus 10 minutes for questions and comments, in French or in English
present work in progress in a round-table format that will allow for constructive feedback and a stimulating interaction (15 minutes to present + 15 minutes for feedback), in French or in English
abstract submissions for both formats cannot exceed 300 words
sign up for a fun and instructive research workshop on two different topics (see Workshops below)
attend two plenaries by renowned researchers on two different topics
meet other students and faculty who are warmly invited to attend as well
watch a Francophone film on February 23

This conference mirrors our MA programmes. We will thus be delighted to receive abstracts addressing one or more of the following strands:

Arizona Working Papers in French & Italian
The participants who will have given a talk (traditional talk or round-table presentation) will be invited to submit a paper to our online Arizona Working Papers in French & Italian.
